Carmel, Indianapolis Make 'Most Expensive ZIP Codes In Indiana' List

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Whether you're looking to buy a new home or just interested in the housing market, Patch has received a list of "Indiana's 50 priciest ZIP codes for home buyers" compiled in a study by real estate data company PropertyShark. For those planning on buying, the list also shows the median price range per zip code.

A few of the PropertyShark highlights featured areas in the Indianapolis area:

• Indiana’s #1 most expensive zip code is 46290 in Indianapolis
• Indiana’s priciest zips are also concentrated in Greater Indianapolis
• Boomtown Carmel is home to two of the state’s 50 most expensive zip codes

These included Carmel, Fishers and Zionsville.

The study also shows Carmel as one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation, as it was named the best city to live in across the country in the last few years.
