City Providing Live Christmas Tree Disposal Sites
The Indianapolis Department of Public Works and Indy Parks are providing live Christmas tree drop off sites during this time period:

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — If you're taking down the Christmas tree this week, the Indianapolis Department of Public Works (Indy DPW) is teaming up with Indy Parks to offer several drop-off sites throughout the city to dispose of your live Christmas tree. Indy DPW says you can drop off your live Christmas tree from dusk until dawn starting Tues., Dec. 26 through Wed., Jan. 31 at these nine Indy Parks locations listed below. Indy DPW says all live trees dropped within these locations must be clear of all tree stands, ornaments, tinsel, lights and other decorations.
Live trees dropped at Indy Parks locations will be chipped and given to Green Cycle for proper disposal.

- Broad Ripple Park (1610 Broad Ripple Ave.) south lot
- Ellenberger Park (5301 E. St. Clair St.) east of pool in main parking lot
- Garfield Park (2432 Conservatory Drive) in front of the MacAllister Center
- Gustafson Park (3110 Moller Road) near the front entrance
- Krannert Park (605 S. High School Road) north parking lot
- Northwestway Park (5253 W. 62nd St.) north parking lot
- Perry Park (451 E. Stop 11 Road) soccer field parking lot
- Riverside Park (2420 E. Riverside Drive) tennis court parking lot
- Sahm Park (6801 E. 91st St.) soccer field parking lot
Starting today and running through January 31st, you may drop off live Christmas Trees at any of the nine Indy parks listed below.

City officials add a reminder for the public, saying Christmas tree disposal is for residents only and not for commercial use.
