Colts QB Andrew Luck Close To Throwing, Improving Strength

The positive news that sources are sharing regarding Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck's recovery process a year after surgery.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- After a disappointing season for Colts fans some positive news has surfaced regarding a big step in quarterback Andrew Luck's injury recovery. Source nfl.com reports that sources say the Colts quarterback is "very close" to throwing a year after surgery for a torn labrum, and almost three months after being placed on injury reserve. The news outlet also adds that sources are saying Luck has headed out to the Los Angeles area to work with throwing and strength "gurus" Adam Dedeaux and Tom House, who also work with several other high-profile quarterbacks including Tom Brady.

This news signifies preparation for the 2018 NFL season, as well as no surgeries on the horizon for Luck.

According to nfl.com, sources say Luck is finishing up getting his strength back, doing functional work, working on his motion and arm speed, and spent time in Europe working on muscle balance and more after he was placed on IR back on Nov. 2.
