'Desperate' For Continued Support: Free Adoptions At IACS
Indianapolis Animal Care & Control has removed all adoption fees as they said the shelter is in 'desperate for continued community support.'

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Free adoptions through Sunday, Feb. 17.
That's what the team at Indianapolis Animal Care and Services announced Friday, and also said they are desperate for community support for the city's most at-risk animals. Why? Because according to IACS, there are currently 838 animals in their care, including at least 247 animals that arrived at the shelter just this week. The open-intake animal shelter said they're required to accept every animal.
The free adoptions include microchip, spay/neuter, vaccinations, and heart worm testing.
