Freckles and Blanche Are Ready For Adoption At IndyHumane
The two animals featured this week as adoptable pets at Humane Society of Indianapolis: Photos
INDIANAPOLIS, IN — There are two furry friends featured this week at the Humane Society of Indianapolis, as the shelter's "Pets of the Week." IndyHumane's Pets of the Week are a dog named Freckles and a cat named Blanche. IndyHumane describes both adoptable pets below:
Freckles is a four-year-old male shelter dog at IndyHumane. He's fun, sweet, spunky and wants nothing more than to play with his toys. He also likes walks, but is happy to cuddle and receive lots of pets from you when you get home from a walk. Freckles can be yours for $160.
Blanche is just about two years old and is a female shelter cat, waiting to be adopted for free. She's a wonderful cat with a very loving, cuddly personality. Blanche also enjoys curling up in laps and napping, and IndyHumane with signs of skin allergies. Testing indicated that she may have an underlying condition called intestinal lymphoma. This is a cancer that can often be well controlled with consistent low doses of steroids (which also control the symptoms of her allergies) possibly for many months. Blanche deserves a quiet, loving home to shower her with attention.
