Hoosier Lottery Says Mega Millions Jackpot Now Up To $445M

Mega Millions jackpot for Friday night jumps to $445 million, just after Saturday's Powerball jackpot increases to $550.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Before the next Powerball jackpot drawing takes place Saturday night, Jan. 6, the Mega Millions drawing is Friday, Jan. 5. The Mega Millions jackpot prize just increased to $445 million, according to Hoosier Lottery. This happened after the Powerball jackpot increased to $550 million after no one matched all six numbers in Wednesday night's drawing.

If you've already done the math in your head, you'd know this Mega Millions jackpot combined with the upcoming Powerball winnings are just $5 away from $1 billion.

However, the odds of winning both jackpots is a mind blowing 1 in 88 quadrillion.
