IMPD Detectives Arrest Second Suspect In July North Side Triple Homicide
IMPD detectives arrest Devante Gilbert in north side murders case just days after first suspect was taken into custody.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department say they've taken 18-year-old Devante Gilbert into custody after the he was surrendered by his attorney Tuesday afternoon at the IMPD Headquarters. IMPD says Devante was arrested on a warrant for Robbery for his alleged involvement in a July 2017 robbery and triple murder.
IMPD says Devante is being held in the Marion County Jail awaiting his initial hearing, and says detectives credit the community and media for applying enough community pressure to persuade Devante to turn himself in without incident.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said detectives have arrested a young man in connection with a north side July 2017 triple murder. Police say the suspect is a 15-year-old male, and they're also looking for more information as they've identified another person of interest, 18-year-old Devante Gilbert (pictured), of Indianapolis. IMPD says this is still an ongoing investigation and department homicide detectives are attempting to gather information at least one more suspect involved in this case.
