Indiana House Committee Approves Sunday Alcohol Sales Bill 12-1
No Sunday alcohol sales in Indiana is one step closer to being a thing of the past thanks to a 12-1 House Committee vote: More

ACROSS INDIANA -- One week after Indiana's Senate Public Policy Committee approved a bill in favor of allowing Sunday carryout alcohol sales, the measure made its way through another round. The House Public Policy Committee approved the bill Wednesday in a 12-1 vote, Fox59 reports. It will now move on to the full House.
House Bill 1051 allows Sunday alcohol sales from noon to 8 p.m. at grocery, liquor, convenience and drug stores, in addition to restaurants.
Senate Bill 1 was passed Jan. 10 through the Senate Public Policy Committee in a unanimous vote, where it will go on for a vote in the full Senate, where they will vote on whether to continue or end Indiana's nearly 85-year Sunday alcohol sales ban.
