INDIANAPOLIS, IN - As if the week couldn't get any better following National French Fry Day on Thursday, today is National Mac and Cheese Day. To celebrate the foodie "holiday," the cheese-filled fun is trending as #NationalMacAndCheeseDay across Twitter and social media. A couple restaurant chains are making it easy and affordable to take part in National Mac and Cheese Day.

Noodles & Company is offering a free small size of its mac and cheese with every regular entree purchase, according to the restaurant's website. For those ordering ahead online, Noodle's website suggests selecting the "pay in restaurant" option if you want the deal.

If that's not enough to satisfy your mac and cheese craving, another restaurant chain is joining in on the celebrations. Boston Market is offering a printable coupon on its website for a free side of its mac and cheese with any individual meal purchase.
