President Trump To Speak During Event At Indiana State Fairgrounds Wednesday
More details on President Trump's upcoming visit to Indianapolis.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — President Donald Trump will speak earlier than originally scheduled during an event at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Wednesday, Sept. 27, The White House announced. Trump is now scheduled to speak at 3 p.m. Wednesday, two hours earlier than initially planned, where he will pitch the Republican tax overhaul plan, Associated Press reports.
The White House says the event will be at the Farm Bureau Building at the fairgrounds on Indianapolis' north side.
Trump's visit comes as he tries to persuade Democratic Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly to support the tax proposal. Donnelly recently had dinner with Trump and several other Republicans and Democrats at the White House.

Trump campaigned at the fairgrounds twice while running for president last year.
The date of President Trumps visit was announced Friday by Vice President Mike Pence during a visit to Anderson, Associated Press reported. AP added the President will promote the Republican-led federal tax overhaul effort during Wednesday's event, which will begin at 5 p.m. at the Farm Bureau Building at the fairgrounds.

The Indiana Republican Party made the original announcement via Twitter (@indgop) on Tuesday, Sept. 19 that the President would be visiting sometime "next week," adding that there were more details to come.
