• Lanesville Heritage Weekend returns Sept. 10-13 (madisoncourier.com) — Lanesville Heritage Weekend is set for Sept. 10–13 at Lanesville Heritage Park, bringing four days of free-admission fun just minutes from home. Expect truck and tractor pulls, a big Saturday parade, midway rides, live music, heritage demonstrations, and more than 260 food and craft vendors celebrating Lanesville’s agricultural roots and community spirit.
   

• Lady Panthers sweep South Central (madisoncourier.com) — Corydon Central’s Lady Panthers swept South Central in three sets at the South Harrison Showdown, rebounding from an earlier loss to Charlestown. The matchup sets the stage for key county contests, including Corydon’s trip to face Lanesville Junior-Senior High next Tuesday and South Central’s recent home match hosting Lanesville as part of early county play.
