• John Earl Sturgis (boonecountydailynews.com) — Lebanon residents are mourning 82-year-old John Earl Sturgis, whose military funeral will be held Friday, June 5, at Myers Mortuary on North Lebanon Street. A longtime outdoorsman, Marine Corps veteran, and devoted family man, he leaves behind his wife Emmadell, three children living in Lebanon, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, with memorials suggested to Lebanon’s VFW Post 280.
