• Lady Miners push South Knox to five sets as Warrick leads state in digs (suncommercial.com) — Linton fans saw the Lady Miners push visiting South Knox to a tight five-set volleyball battle in Linton before falling just three points short in the final set. Despite the loss, standout defender Taylor Warrick is currently leading all Indiana Class 2A players in digs, helping keep Linton competitive against a tough schedule.
• Amos Musselman (gcdailyworld.com) — A longtime Greene County resident born in Linton, Amos Musselman of Newberry, has died at age 93, leaving a large family and deep community ties. Visitation is Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, with funeral services Thursday, Sept. 17, at Newberry Cornerstone Church, followed by burial in Newberry Cemetery.
