Despite the loss, standout defender Taylor Warrick is currently leading all Indiana Class 2A players in digs, helping keep Linton competitive against a tough schedule.

• Amos Musselman (gcdailyworld.com) — A longtime Greene County resident born in Linton, Amos Musselman of Newberry, has died at age 93, leaving a large family and deep community ties. Visitation is Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, with funeral services Thursday, Sept. 17, at Newberry Cornerstone Church, followed by burial in Newberry Cemetery.
