• Seven Oaks Classical School granted full IHSAA membership (ipm.org) — Martinsville-area fans may soon see more nearby competition as Seven Oaks Classical School joins a new Tri Rivers Athletic Conference that includes Eminence in Martinsville. Starting in 2026–27, Seven Oaks will also gain full IHSAA membership, opening postseason opportunities and reducing long travel times for student-athletes. 
• Indiana University Kokomo 2026 master's students honored in hooding ceremony · (casscountyonline.com) — A Martinsville resident, Rebekah Muzzi, is among Indiana University Kokomo’s newly hooded 2026 master’s graduates, earning a Master of Arts for Teachers in Mathematics. The ceremony in Kokomo recognized 47 students across multiple graduate programs and highlighted several outstanding student award winners from around Indiana and beyond.
