Indiana American Water expands support after severe flooding (thestarpress.com) — Merrillville's Legacy Foundation has received a $5,000 grant to support disaster recovery and community assistance across Northwest Indiana after this summer's severe storms and flooding. The funding is part of more than $70,000 Indiana American Water and its charitable foundation are directing to hard-hit communities statewide, including operational help to keep water and wastewater services running during the worst of the weather.
