• Mrvan Requests Federal Investigation into NWI Power Outages (wimsradio.com) — Munster was among the hardest-hit communities in August's derecho, with residents facing some of the longest power outages in NIPSCO's territory. Now Rep. Frank Mrvan is urging federal regulators to investigate why restoration took so long, how NIPSCO prepared and responded, and whether billions in recent grid investments actually improved reliability for Munster and the rest of Northwest Indiana.
