A Munster town councilor has gone to Griffith for answers while pushing to bring state inmate crews to clear debris so neighborhoods can be ready once electricity is finally restored. 
• Chicago Bears, others send aid as Indiana faces 11th day without power (upi.com) — Munster is among the Northwest Indiana communities still struggling after powerful August storms left thousands without power and caused extensive damage.
