• Fort Wayne Group Showcasing Mohawk, Pullman Car at Open House (railfan.com) — New Haven residents can step inside a working railroad restoration shop on Sept. 26, when the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society hosts a free open house at its New Haven facility. Visitors can tour the massive New York Central 3001 steam locomotive and a historic Pullman business car, meet volunteers, and learn about the ongoing restoration projects from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
