State of the City: Noblesville Mayor addresses growth, infrastructure and investments (youarecurrent.com) — Noblesville's latest State of the City outlines flood recovery needs, big safety investments, and major construction projects that will reshape daily life, from a new police HQ to downtown upgrades. The mayor also highlighted billions in private investment, Innovation Mile's rebranding as the Deer Creek District, and ongoing work on Pleasant Street, Ind. 37, and mental health outreach.
3. Hoobastank brings 'The Reason' and more to Ruoff Music Center (wishtv.com) — Hoobastank is headed to Noblesville's Ruoff Music Center on Friday, Sept. 26, giving local fans a chance to hear "The Reason" live along with the band's heavier favorites. 4. Man convicted for sexually assaulting woman at Fishers massage parlor (wthr.com) — In a case handled through Hamilton County courts in Noblesville, a Fishers masseuse has been convicted of raping a woman during a massage at a Fishers business. Jurors found him guilty of two rape counts, sexual battery, and resisting law enforcement, and he is scheduled for sentencing on Oct. 8.
5. Shirley R. England (thesuntimesnews.com) — Noblesville residents are mourning the passing of 74-year-old Shirley R. England, who died at home in town on September 15 surrounded by her daughters. Remembered as a devoted mother, protector, and friend, she leaves behind a large, close-knit family who cherished holidays and time together; honoring her wishes, no services will be held.
