City Of Noblesville Releases 2017 Annual Report
City of Noblesville's 2017 highlights and accomplishments include:

NOBLESVILLE, IN -- The City of Noblesville announces the release of its year-end report. The 2017 Annual Report can be found online on the city's website, which major accomplishments within every city department and the community during the past year. According to city officials, this is the second year Noblesville has compiled a comprehensive year-end report, as each department previously created its own annual report. The report covers several city assets, including city departments, downtown, the Common Council, traffic, tourism and upcoming projects.
Some of the 28-page report's highlights include:
- A population increase estimate of 60,183 based on the latest Census information on July 1, 2016
- Nearly 40 listed ribbon cuttings and grand openings, with some additional ones not listed.
- 2017 opening of Federal Hill Commons and several special opening events, including the Federal Hill Commons Ice Plaza during the holiday season.
- Zero fatal traffic accidents
- 65% of the general fund budget went towards public safety
- 42% of property taxes went toward schools
- A new name for Noblesville's outdoor concert venue, formally known as Klipsch Music Center, now called Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center.
- Started construction on a new $15 million, 130,000-square-foot youth sports facility, The Finch Park Creek Fieldhouse, in December 2017.
- Street light replacement
- Increase in trash collection and recycling

“2017 was an exciting year in Noblesville. We saw policy or strategy changes in a number of departments so employees are more efficient and citizens are better served,” Mayor John Ditslear said in a release. “Throughout 2017, we remained steadfast in preparing for the future. I know the momentum of our current projects will continue to grow in 2018.”
