'I will do the best I can': Noblesville auto shop owner starts rebuilding process after flood (fox59.com) — A long-time auto repair shop on State Road 19 in Noblesville is facing tens of thousands of dollars in damage after last week's flooding swamped cars, equipment, and records. Owner George Hendricks, who's run Son-Shine Service for 36 years, says he's determined to rebuild over the coming months and is getting support from neighbors and customers rallying behind him.

Fishers shifts focus to recovery following historic flooding (youarecurrent.com) — Historic flooding across Hamilton County forced voluntary evacuations for about 170 Noblesville residents and affected more than 550 local housing units, according to Mayor Chris Jensen. While Fishers officials report stable critical infrastructure and limited neighborhood damage there, county leaders are now focused on long-term recovery, donations, and assessing major damage like the Hazel Dell Parkway bridge collapse.

Indiana assessing storm damage: Why officials say don't apply for FEMA help yet (wishtv.com) — State officials are assessing last week's storm and flood damage, including high water on the north side of Noblesville, before asking FEMA for a major disaster declaration that could unlock individual aid.
