• Dangerous heat forces schedule modifications for Oolitic trash collection (wbiw.com) — Trash pickup in Oolitic will run on a modified schedule Thursday, September 17, because of dangerous heat, and residents are asked to have bins at the curb by 6 a.m. Some routes may not be completed, so if your trash isn't collected, keep it covered or stored securely for pickup on the next regular collection day, Thursday, September 24.
