• Local DAR chapter seeks families of 12 WWII MIA (pdclarion.com) — Owensville residents are invited to a June 12 flag salute program at the Owensville Community Center, part of the Carnegie Library’s “America 250” series, where the local DAR chapter will also seek relatives of 12 World War II missing-in-action service members. Families from Owensville, Princeton, Haubstadt, and Fort Branch are especially encouraged to come forward to help honor these Hoosier veterans in a September ceremony in Indianapolis.
