• Road closed after fatal Plainfield crash (fox59.com) — A deadly two-vehicle crash at Stout Heritage Parkway and State Road 267 in Plainfield has the area blocked off while police investigate, and drivers are urged to avoid the intersection and use alternate routes. Plainfield officers confirmed one fatality after responding to an entrapment call just before 9 a.m. Tuesday, and crash reconstruction specialists remain on scene as the investigation continues.
