Seymour police, local fire departments, and state investigators responded as three critically hurt occupants were airlifted and two others taken to Schneck Medical Center, with the exact cause of the pileup still under investigation.
3. DNR spotlights upcoming 'Free Fishing Days' (localnewsdigital.com) — Indiana’s Free Fishing Days are coming June 6–7 and again in late September, letting Hoosiers fish public waters without a license while still following all regulations. The update also notes a recent multi-vehicle I-65 crash in Seymour that killed a 12-year-old from New Albany and seriously injured three others.

Castle softball wins 4A regional championship on walk-off home run (courierpress.com) — Seymour’s softball team came up just short in its first-ever Class 4A regional appearance, falling 5-4 at Castle on a walk-off home run Tuesday night. The Owls built an early lead and had five players with two hits each, but Castle rallied late to advance to semi-state in Bedford this weekend.
