Society Of Anesthesiologists (timesuniononline.com) — A South Bend-based anesthesiologist who practices at Beacon Memorial Hospital and surrounding clinics has been honored with the 2026 Distinguished Service Award from the Indiana Society of Anesthesiologists. Manchester University alumna and trustee Dr. Harriet Hamer is being recognized for decades of leadership in anesthesiology, statewide advocacy, and mentoring, with the award presented at a dinner in Indianapolis tonight.
