The program serves anyone in the community, regardless of income or disability, offering affordable meals with free delivery and relying heavily on volunteer drivers to keep the service going.
   

• Hunger Action Month advocates for the food insecure (mywabashvalley.com) — Families in Terre Haute and surrounding counties are facing the highest food insecurity levels in a decade, with Vigo County’s child hunger rate among the state’s worst. They’ll return here October 2 for the Nike XC Town Twilight meet hosted by Indiana State, bringing strong women’s and men’s squads that just posted top finishes against regional rivals.
