• DOJ: Inmate serving life for murder dies in Terre Haute federal prison (mywabashvalley.com) — A man serving a life sentence at the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute was found unresponsive Monday afternoon and later pronounced dead, according to federal officials. Authorities say no staff or other inmates were injured, the public was never in danger, and the FBI has been notified as the death is reviewed.
   

• Cambridge-backed courses are expanding in Indiana. Here's how schools are using them. (wishtv.com) — Terre Haute South Vigo High School is among just six Indiana schools awarded state grants to launch new Cambridge advanced courses, alongside AP-style options. These essay-focused classes can help multilingual students show mastery and count toward an Honors Enrollment Seal, which guarantees admission to Indiana’s public universities and earns bonus funding for local schools. Applications for additional schools are open through mid-July.
