• Waters, Childers Take Oaths As Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Firefighters (timesuniononline.com) — Warsaw residents have two newly sworn Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory firefighters, as Dylan Childers and Miles Waters officially took their oaths after completing a probationary year. During Friday’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting, Mayor Jeff Grose administered the oaths while fellow firefighters and family members joined in pinning badges and signing paperwork to finalize their appointments.

Behind gritty runs from Michael Schenck and leadership from quarterback Brady Sauer, Warsaw overcame four red‑zone turnovers and now looks ahead to hosting Mishawaka at home on Friday, September 11 at 7 p.m.
• Warsaw Man Sentenced To 188 Months In Prison - Times-Union (timesuniononline.com) — A Warsaw man has been sentenced to more than 15 years in federal prison after Warsaw Police and federal agents tied him to a 2025 shooting incident and illegal firearm possession. Investigators found bullet damage and multiple guns linked to him, and prosecutors cited his long history of violent offenses as justification for the lengthy sentence aimed at protecting northern Indiana communities.
