JOHNSON COUNTY, IN — An Johnson County man who was wounded when an argument with a neighbor escalated into across-the-fence gunfire has pleaded guilty in the case, AP reports. The Johnson County prosecutor's office charged Jeffrey S. Weigle in July with criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, as AP reports he pleaded guilty Thursday in an agreement with prosecutors. AP adds that he was released Thursday night as a judge gave him credit for about six months already served in jail. <a href="https://patch.com/indiana/indianapolis/no-charges-indianapolis-firefighter-johnson-county-neighbor-shooting">This video</a> shows Weigle and his Indianapolis firefighter neighbor Dean Keller exchange insults on their greenwood properties on June 27, 2017, before Weigle - appearing to ride a lawnmower - pull out a handgun. After this, the video shows Indianapolis firefighter Dean Keller <a href="https://patch.com/indiana/indianapolis/no-charges-indianapolis-firefighter-johnson-county-neighbor-shooting">fire his gun</a> and Weigle returning fire.
