Man Arrested In Crash Killing Colts LB Charged In Boone Co. Case
The man arrested in the crash that killed Colts LB Edwin Jackson and Jeffrey Monroe has been charged in a Boone County case: Report

LEBANON, IN — A man arrested for the drunken driving crash that killed Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson and family man and Uber driver Jeffrey Monroe has been charged in an unrelated case, the Associated Press reports. Boone County Prosecutor Todd Meyer filed charges of perjury, identity deception, forgery and misdemeanor false informing Tuesday against 37-year-old Manuel Orrego-Savala, AP News says, adding that Orrego-Savala, who's been living in the U.S. illegally, gave police a false identity during his 2017 arrest and prosecution for misdemeanor driving without a license.
Orrego-Savala was charged last week in Marion County with two counts each of failing to remain at the scene of an accident and causing death while driving intoxicated in the Feb. 4 crash that killed Jackson and Monroe.
