• Developer pitches apartment project for TIF area in Zionsville (youarecurrent.com) — A 179-unit, $45 million apartment complex is being proposed in a Zionsville tax-increment financing district near 700 East and Grove Pass, with TIF-backed bonds funding infrastructure like curbs and roads. The Redevelopment Commission has already advanced the plan, which still needs review by the Plan Commission, Economic Development Corp., and Town Council. Residents should watch how this shapes growth, traffic, and future tax revenues.
   

• Former Optum patients report difficulty in getting medical records (youarecurrent.com subscription) — Former patients of Optum Primary Care in Zionsville are struggling to obtain complete medical records months after the office closed June 26, with some facing fees and long delays. One longtime patient reports only three months of her 20-year history were transferred, while others await files until mid-September. Optum says it is working with records vendor Datavant to resolve problems.
