• Church meeting space for Oak Street OK'd (youarecurrent.com) — A small congregation has won conditional approval from the Zionsville Plan Commission to build a 1,600-square-foot meeting house at 7660 W. Oak Street, despite months of delays and traffic concerns. The project narrowly passed 4–3 after sharp disagreements between town leaders over development standards, parking, and limits on events, highlighting ongoing tensions in Zionsville's planning process.
   

• Community Foundation honors late Zionsville Swim Club volunteer (youarecurrent.com) — Zionsville residents are honoring the late super-volunteer Stephanie Heiser, whose years of work with Zionsville Swim Club and local Girl Scouts earned her the 2026 Lionel Dubay Youth Sports Award. Friends recall her ever-present support at meets, trademark post-race treats, and creative scout projects, and the accompanying $500 grant will go directly to the Zionsville Swim Club.
