Take A Pet Home For The Holidays With Shelter Adoption Promotion
Indianapolis Animal Care Services promotes its 'Pay it Forward for the Holidays' adoption special which runs through New Year's Eve.

It's crowded at Indianapolis Animal Care Services, so the shelter is promoting its "Pay it Forward for the Holidays" campaign from now until Dec. 31. The shelter believes every animal should have a home for the holidays, and invites everyone to come and adopt a furry friend. IACS says those who bring in a donation from the shelter's wishlist valuing $15 or more will have their chosen animal's adoption fee waived.
Those willing to donate in exchange for an adoption, or those who want to simply donate, IACS needs:
- Bleach
- Cat litter
- Wet kitten food
- Fancy Feast Classic Pate
- Paper towels
- Trash bags
- Towels/blankets
- Kongs
- Peanut butter
- Tissues/Kleenex
You can head to IACS to donate or adopt from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. The shelter is closed on Wednesdays.
