Ankeny Police: Public Intox, Driving While Barred, Burglaries Top Blotter for March 20

March 2

Logan T. Erb, 24, Boone, was charged with driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic stop that occurred in the 2800 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Matthew D. Goodrich, 21, Altoona, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred in the 200 block of Northwest State Street.

Nicholas C. Leto, 21, Clay Township, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 2000 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

March 3

Casey J. Codner, 47, Ankeny, was charged with public intoxication following an incident in the 100 block of Northwest College Avenue.

Joseph L. Roozeboom, 32, Colfax, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and also charged with driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of Southeast Oralabor Road and Interstate 35.

March 4

Joshua J. Zimmerman, 19, Cedar Rapids, was charged with possession of marijuana following an incident that occurred in the 300 block of Northeast 12th Street.

March 5

Christopher R. Affeldt, 18, Ankeny, was charged with public intoxication following an incident that occurred at Ankeny High School, 1155 S.W. Cherry St.

Rodney C. Moore, 21, Clinton, was charged with driving with a revoked license following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of DMACC Boulevard and Southwest Oralabor Road.

Police responded to the 3000 block of Northeast Trilein Drive at approximately 6:12 a.m. for a report of a burglary from a vehicle.

March 6

Lynk A. Tripp, 39, Ankeny, was charged with assault (domestic abuse - simple) following an incident that occurred in the 1800 block of Northwest Pine Road.

March 7

Lee M. Nelson, 49, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) following a traffic stop that occurred in the 1700 block of Northeast Delaware Avenue.
