OWI, Alcohol-Related Charges From This Week's Ankeny Police Blotter

May 3

Ronald Martin, 36, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (third or subsequent offense), driving with a revoked license and causing an accident following a traffic incident that occurred near the intersection of Northwest Ninth Street and Northwest State Street.

May 5

Jose Martinez Puga, 33, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, open container and driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop that occurred in the 800 block of Southeast Third Street.

James H. Reynolds, 51, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 1300 block of Northwest Irvinedale Drive.

Dortha M. Tenhaken, 41, Johnston, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 2700 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

May 6

Amy L. Strode, 24, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 2600 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

May 8

John V. Kouang, 30, Des Moines, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) and driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic stop near the intersection of South Ankeny Boulevard and Southeast Oralabor Road.
