Public Intoxication, OWI Charges Top Ankeny Police Blotter for Jan. 31

Jan. 11

Tory A Forest, 23, Indianola, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred near the intersection of Southwest Polk City Drive and State Street.

Joseph D. Muir, 28, Ankeny, was charged with assault (domestic abuse - simple) following an incident that occurred in the 1600 block of Northwest Second Street.

Tera R. Woods, 35, Des Moines, was charged with driving while barred (habitual offender) following a traffic incident that occurred in the 1800 block of Northwest Tenth Street.

Jan. 12

Robert Harlan, 62, Des Moines, was charged with fifth-degree theft following an incident that occurred at Sportsman’s Warehouse, 921 S.E. Oralabor Rd.

Cierra R. Hartman-Splettstoesser, 23, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred in the 600 block of Southeast Oralabor Road.

Dustin S. Johnson, 19, Clive, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic incident that occurred in the 1400 block of West First Street.

Darin J. Knowler, 46, Des Moines, was charged with public intoxication following an incident that occurred in the 700 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Susan R. Webb, 21, Ankeny, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic incident that occurred in the 2000 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.

Jan. 13

Michael R. DeVries, 53, Des Moines, was charged with public intoxication following an incident that occurred in the 100 block of Southeast Delaware Avenue.

Julie A. Katzenmeier, 40, no address provided, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following an incident that occurred at Walmart, 10022 S.E. National Dr.
