US Bank in Ankeny Robbed; Police Requesting Help in Locating Suspect

are asking for assistance in locating a man who robbed an Ankeny bank this afternoon.

At approximately 5 p.m. Friday, police were called to , 305 S. Ankeny Blvd., for a report of a robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall. He appeared to be between 30-40 years of age with a thin build. The suspect was wearing glasses, a black stocking hat, blue jeans and appeared to have short facial hair.

The suspect did not display a weapon during the robbery.
