• Flooding Continues Across Southwest Iowa, Water Reaches Highway 25 in Adair County (westerniowatoday.com) — Flooding in Atlantic has pushed water from Olive Street to Great River Road, leaving the Little League fields under water even though the roadway remains open for now. Southwest Iowa drivers, especially those using Highway 25 in Adair County, are urged to watch for changing conditions, barricades, and DOT warnings as more gravel roads and low spots see water over the surface.

• Atlantic Sweeps Doubles Field Finish Second in Hawkeye Ten Conference Tournament: Clarinda Wins Team Title, Atlantic Second (westerniowatoday.com) — Atlantic Trojan girls’ tennis players brought home both Hawkeye Ten doubles titles and finished second overall in Tuesday’s conference tournament at Denison, just two points behind Clarinda. Local standouts Dylin Ball, Jacobi Harter, Taryn O’Brien, Sophie Rose, Lily Willrich, and Hope Hammontree all contributed key finishes that capped a strong day for Atlantic under coach Mike McDermott.
