Ex-Atlantic teacher accused of sexual exploitation, grooming (who13.com) — Atlantic police have charged a former Atlantic Community School District employee with felony grooming and sexual exploitation following a months-long investigation into alleged misconduct involving a student. The former teacher was previously fired, surrendered his licenses, and now remains in Cass County Jail while also facing a separate exploitation charge tied to an earlier job in another Iowa district.

5. Atlantic man arrested on a Harassment (Sexting) charge (kjan.com) — An Atlantic man was arrested in Stuart on a first-degree harassment charge after investigators reviewed a sexually explicit video and related messages sent to a woman, according to Adair County authorities. He was booked into the Adair County Jail and later released on bond, and a separate assault arrest near Greenfield was also reported.
