Sweepstakes will be held throughout the Grand Opening weekend that gives neighbors a shot at a free one-year supply of Purina dog or cat food. Saturday, the store will be hosting a Pets and People pizza party, while on Sunday, the first 100 neighbors who enter the store will receive a coupon for a free small bag of dog or cat food, valid on any brand in the store. Finally, customers will be able to cast their vote for one area pet rescue organization to receive $1,000. Representatives from Cedar Bend Humane Society, Cedar Valley Pit Bull Rescue and Waverly Pet Rescue will be on-site during the voting.
