With 556 new scholarship funds and big investments in academics, arts, and athletics, many more local students will see direct financial support and improved university resources in the years ahead.

Touchdowns, a dramatic blocked-punt score, and downtown Cedar Falls parade scenes capped a big day for local students, alumni, and residents packing the Dome and streets.
   

• Speaker Mike Johnson Joins U.S. Chamber's Free Enterprise Express Opportunity Tour in Cedar Falls (uschamber.com) — National political and business leaders brought the U.S. Chamber's Free Enterprise Express bus tour to the Bien Venu Event Center in Cedar Falls, focusing on tax cuts, permitting reform, and pro-business policies. While the tour is national in scope, Cedar Falls residents hosted a key stop where Speaker Mike Johnson and Iowa business advocates promoted their economic agenda.
