Big Casino Night: It's for the Kids!

Come support Big Brothers Big Sisters and help raise money for youth mentoring in the Cedar Valley at Big Casino Night on Friday, Feb. 26th!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Iowa will be hosting its Annual Big Casino Night 2016 on Friday, February 26th, 2016 from 6PM-10PM at The Elks Club in Waterloo.

Big Casino Night (presented by the University of Iowa Community Credit Union) combines a delicious dinner, exciting silent auction and raffle and fun casino gaming – all for a great cause. All proceeds of Big Casino Night will support one-to-one mentoring of youth facing adversity in our community.

This year’s event will kick off at 6 p.m. with a social hour and gambling, followed by dinner and a short program. More gambling, a silent auction, a raffle and other prize opportunities will take place after the program and throughout the night as well.

All funds raised will support both community-based and school-based mentoring programs in the Cedar Valley. These funds allow for targeted volunteer recruiting, screening, training and matching, as well as ongoing support by trained staff. Funds also provide safety training and supervision, as well as program events developed just for kids and their “Bigs.”

A special thank you to all of our generous event sponsors which include Presenting Sponsor UICCU, and Farmers State Bank, Hy-Vee Marketplace Grille, Veridian Credit Union, Marco, Inc., Riddle’s Jewelry and Strategic Imaging.
