Caving trip to Mystery Cave State Park in Minnesota for Adults

Join a Hartman naturalist on a trip to Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park near Preston, Minnesota. We will spend the morning hiking, viewing native wildlife and wildflowers, and doing some nature journaling.  We will also visit various sinkholes and Big Spring, which feeds the stream which runs through the park.  After lunch, we will take a guided tour of Mystery Cave, Minnesota’s largest cave.  The guide will discuss why the cave is there and different geologic features located within the cave.  Please bring appropriate clothing; the cave stays at a constant temperature of 48 degrees.  Lunch is not provided but large coolers will be available to put lunches in.  When registering, please leave your email address or the best way to contact you so that a naturalist can give you more details for the trip.  Program Fee: $35/person.  Fee includes: Admission for cave tour (2hrs.), transportation, and vehicle permit into park.  Lunch is not provided.
