‘Tis the season for Lampost’s annual Christmas Dessert Theatre, a Cedar Valley tradition! This year, we’ll be premiering a brand-new play, “Befana,” a magical musical for Christmas! Just when Befana’s Christmas routine doesn’t quite hold the adventure it used to, she has a sudden encounter with a mysterious boy running from an unknown danger. As she attempts to nurse the boy back from his loss of memory, Befana starts to regain hers. Soon a collision of stories occurs as her past becomes more than life-like! There’s plenty of theatrical magic in this hopeful, heartwarming tale, all followed by a delectable dessert! Performances run weekends Dec. 4-20.
