- Celebrate Earth Week with Green Iowa AmeriCorps! Volunteers are needed to help out with a biannual highway clean-up on a section of Highway 20 in Cedar Falls on April 24 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Volunteers age 14 and over are welcome.
- The Grout Museum District needs volunteers to assist with serving a British Low Tea on April 18 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Volunteers age 14 and over are welcome.
- Hartman Reserve Nature Center needs volunteers for Earth Day on April 19 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. for gift shop assistance, welcome table, helping with canoeing/kayaking, archery or geocaching, and trash clean up. Volunteers should be age 18 or older.
- The Hansen Elementary PTA will be hosting a Spring Carnival at Hansen Elementary School on April 25 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Volunteers will assist with set up and tear down, help the children play the games, sell food, and pass out prizes. Volunteers age 14 and over are welcome.
