• The Grout Museum District needs assistants for Museum School Wednesdays to work with third grade students on May 6 and 13 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
• Get involved while honoring Memorial Day! Volunteers are needed on May 25 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. to assist with children’s activities and serving boxed lunches at the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum. Volunteers should be age 13 or older.
• The House of Hope would like individuals to assist with sorting donations and organizing donation room Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Some moderate lifting (30 pounds) may be required. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.

• The Iowa Food Bank Association is looking volunteers to screen possible SNAP (formerly Food Stamps) recipients and offer help completing the application throughout the State of Iowa. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
