- The Grout Museum District need volunteers to assist with Museum School Mapping Activities on May 1, 8 and 15 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
- Get involved while honoring Memorial Day! Volunteers are needed on May 25 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. to assist with children’s activities and serving boxed lunches at the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum. Volunteers should be age 13 or older.
- Iowa Legal Aid needs volunteer language proficiency evaluators who will assess the translation and interpretation abilities of prospective volunteer translators and interpreters. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
- Iowa State University Extension Black Hawk County is in need of Black Hawk County 4-H Program Youth Leaders. Volunteers age 21 and over are welcome.
