- Green Iowa AmeriCorps is looking for volunteers to help clean-up Highway 20 from Hudson Road to Highway 58 on May 29 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Bags and gloves will be provided. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
- The Third Annual Accel Triathlon will be held on Sunday, June 14 at George Wyth State Park. Volunteers are needed on the bike course to watch for vehicle traffic and direct athletes along the course from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. Volunteers should be age 16 or older.
- The Job Foundation needs volunteers to mentor or tutor. Many mentors or tutors work with the same student for years. Volunteers should be age 18 or older.
- Volunteers needed to drive blood products to hospitals in the Cedar Valley and surrounding communities within the LifeServe service area. Shifts are regular during the week in the morning and evenings as well as weekend mornings and are typically between 1-5 hours. Volunteers should be age 18 or older.
