VCCV Weekly Volunteer Opportunities

Connecting community, changing lives.

• The Third Annual Accel Triathlon will be held on Sunday, June 14 at George Wyth State Park. Volunteers are needed on the bike course to watch for vehicle traffic and direct athletes along the course from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. Volunteers should be age 16 or older.

• The Larrabee Center’s Trinkets & Togs store needs volunteers to sort donations on June 27 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.


• Volunteers are needed to help with the care and management of the flower beds on the National Cattle Congress grounds. Days and times are flexible. Volunteers should be age 16 or older.

• The Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois have an amazing STEM volunteer opportunity. As a Lego League Mentor you will assist the coach and teach skills to a small group of girls while helping them program and code a robot to compete in regional competition. Volunteers should be age 18 or older.
