• The Grout Museum District needs volunteers to assist staff with Discovery Days: For the Troops: The USO in Vietnam activities on December 26 and 28 - 31 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
• The Iowa Foster and Adoptive Parents Association is in need of individuals willing to provide short term (typically from several hours to a few days) care for foster children in the home of foster parents during times that the foster parents need to be away.

• Volunteers with clerical experience are needed as administrative assistants at the Department of Human Services. Daily activities include application compilation, opening and sorting mail, folding brochures, and helping client’s complete applications. Hours are 8 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
